REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Returns:
We are as passionate about customer satisfaction as we are about making chocolate and flower shells. We hold ourselves to the highest standards…so you can, too. Your order is guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition, no matter the weather, containing the elegant packaging and quality chocolate and flowers shells customers expect from SWEET FAIRY BRIGADEIROS. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, simply contact us to return your order for a prompt replacement, refund, or exchange.

Please contact us within 5 days to let us know you will be returning the item. Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please make sure to use the correct address and required information. We won’t replace orders sent to the wrong recipient or location.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

CHARITY AND DONATIONS:

 

Sweet Fairy Brigadeiros loves donating to any kind of charity. It is a satisfactory act and produce such a good feeling. Charity is a good way to prove that love still exists and it gives people hope that humanity is still present. Charity does not have to be big or leave a huge impact. We take so many aspects of our life for granted so a little act of kindness at the right moment can give someone a good day.

Sweet Fairy Brigadeiros does require detailed information about the charity for security purposes including:

​

• The exact name of the charity they represent and contact name

• The complete address and phone number

• The percentage of your donation that will go to the charity

•  How much will go to the actual cause to which we’re donating

•  How much will go to the fundraiser

​

Is your charity or fundraise registered in NV by the National Association of State Charity Officials?

 

If your charity is out of State where is the charity register?

​

We will check if the charity is trustworthy by contacting the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance, Charity Navigator, Charity Watch, or GuideStar.

​

Documentation for Sweet Fairy Brigadeiros is required for us to present the IRS as a tax deductible (means we can deduct our contribution on federal income tax return).

​

No cash donations available for tax purposes.  We do not provide our credit card or check number, bank account number or any personal information until we’ve thoroughly researched the charity.

​

If a donation request comes from a group claiming to help our local community (for example, local police or firefighters), we will ask the local agency if they have heard of the group and are getting financial support.

​

Sweet Fairy Brigadeiros does not donate by text or over the phone. All request needs to be sent in writing by e-mail with all the details to: contact@sweetfairybrigadeiros.com

All donations and requests need to be presented at least 20 days prior to the event day for consideration.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:

 

We ship to all 50 States via USPS and FedEx in partnership with Periship - A specialized service for perishable products.

 

Once your shipping label has been created, you will receive a tracking number by e-mail.

We need 2-3 business days to process and ship your order. 1 day shipping means your sweets will travel for only one day. 2 days shipping means a two days trip. We still need 2-3 days to make your sweets; after all it's handmade especially for you :)

We only ship our Brigadeiros in 2-3 days maximum, and this is because we definitely don't want your sweets to be traveling for more than that or melt your Brigadeiros in a 5 day trip. For 2 day shipping locations we ship Monday to Wednesday (We don't like the idea of having your sweets stuck at the carrier location over the weekend).

Sweet Fairy Brigadeiros does not provide replacement, exchange or refund for all orders returned by the shipping carrier.

 

Before you check out, please make sure that you have the correct address and all the required information correct because we won't replace any orders sent to the wrong recipient or location.

​

We do not ship our chocolates Fridays and Saturdays. For Flower Shells we ship everyday expect Sundays.
